Since 1978, we have nurtured a positive and long-term relationship with many enthusiastically satisfied customers in North America, Europe and Asia.

Our operations concentrate primarily in northern New Brunswick, Canada, a region where we have felling rights over a vast expanse of hardwood forest. At Groupe Savoie we have embraced the core values of harmonious harvest, sustainable forestry and efficient utilization of trees.



Groupe Savoie's industrial facilities comprise two sawmills, one pallet plant, one component plant, one pellet plant and dry kilns in St-Quentin, N.B. one component plant and a dry kiln in Kedgwick, N.B. one pallet production and recycling plant in Moncton, N.B. and one sawmill in Westville, Nova-Scotia. Groupe Savoie also takes special pride in its partnership with several other companies that utilize a sizeable portion of its by-products to produce green energy.



All our plants are equipped with cutting-edge technology for the most efficient use of our resources. At Groupe Savoie we are fully committed to our social responsibility regarding the environment and sustainable development. Accordingly, our forestry operations abide by stringent government regulations and are ISO 14001 and SFI certified as a way to ensure the preservation of our resources for generations to come. Our production processes meet the strictest quality standards and can successfully satisfy most customer specifications including the chain of custody certification (PEFC).

Groupe Savoie’s sawmills produce 75 million FBM (175,000 m3) of hardwood lumber annually and over 2 million pallets. Constant supply of dry, well seasoned hardwood to its component production plants is guaranteed by 16 modern kilns equipped with automated quality control systems that dry over 20 million FBM (48,000 m3) a year. In order to satisfy recurrent customer demand, Groupe Savoie has partnered with several other companies in the industry.
